4:11am I sort of strain my neck as if that will help me identify the piercing shrill. My eyes popped open real hard- I already had a bit of a headache. It's Ty for sure. I shook P hard so he'd wake up quick. "Just get a bottle". It didn't work at all. The milk suited as some kind of mojo juice for him cos the joker popped up hollering as soon as he was done. I did my frantic half blind run to his bedroom so he wouldnt wake his twin brother.
He played and giggled loud and despite my annoyance with his lively and excited demeanor, just an hour before my usual wake time, I surrendered and began playing with him.
There I am 6:14am dashing back and forth from the car-expecting to leave something I need for our school day. I've got to make it to the daycare by 6:30am. It takes 3 to 4 trips in the cold dark morning to get the baby bag, lunch leftovers, naptime blankets, my 3 yr old drama queens and 2 other car seated 22 pound babies to the truck.
Whew, "I'm the director-nice to meet you I am so glad you child will be attending our school. I apologize for my tardiness this morning." With one finger up-there's a few more trips to the car before I am completely unloaded and "at work".
Hmm...this morning began two hours ago besides the crying babies, the scavengar hunt for my staff uniform, the debate on what skirt matched my three year olds shoes, frantically filling 7 oz. bottles, and desperately looking for socks in below 30 degree weather- we were off to a pretty good start-or did I speak too soon.
